Simulator vs. Real Plane
Ideally, an aviation school should offer actual in-the-cockpit experience that allows you to start flying at some point during the class term. However, some schools offer only flight-simulator training, so you never really take off or land a plane. Flight simulators are excellent training tools, especially if you're just investigating what flying might be like, but you need real flight time if you want to go on to pilot planes. Testing out of Early Classes

Consistency is good, and staying in the same school for extensive training can help you ensure that you haven't missed anything.
